The vegetable capsules are produced using the raw material, hypromellose. Hypromellose is a cellulose material derived from softwood trees, mainly pine and spruce trees that are grown and harvested from plantations in the southeastern United States. The capsules consist of hypromellose, water, gellan gum, and potassium acetate. We use calcium carbonate as a manufacturing aid in the encapsulation process. Calcium carbonate is a high-level excipient used for a smooth flow in the manufacturing process.
